A good alternator should maintain battery voltage between 13.9 and 14.8 volts (14.2 is optimum). Even worst-case, with all accessories turned on, there should be at least 13 volts at the battery.
The safest amp to charge car batteries is from 4 to 7.5 amps. Charging within this range ensures the vehicle battery won`t overcharge, overheat, or be damaged in the process. Yes, you can safely charge a minimum voltage 12-volt battery with this amp rating, though it will be pretty slow.
The three stages or steps in lead/acid battery charging are bulk, absorption, and float. Qualification, or equalization are sometimes considered another stage. A 2 stage unit will have bulk and float stages.
Remove The Charger Once Charging Is Complete

To safely remove the charger, make sure to power if off before touching any of the other controls on the unit. Only after the charger has been shut off is it safe to remove the cables. Once powered down, remove the positive cable first, followed by the negative.

While fast charging can increase the rate at which your battery loses capacity, its actual impact is only about 0.1 percent more capacity lost than without using fast charging.
Don`t overdo it.

Overcharging occurs when the device or battery is plugged into a charger after full charge has been reached and may reduce battery life.

Dead battery? After sitting for 6 months w/o using, the battery was dead, I re-charged it and it would not hold the charge. The low battery light does not come on, after charging. If that is the problem, are these available for purchase to replace it and where can I buy one.
ANSWER : The battery is a commonly available 6 volt 4.5 ah sealed lead battery. Interstate has them and many other suppliers. I think same battery used some security systems…

Every time I replace the 4 AA batteries all camera
ANSWER : There is an internal battery back up for storing settings. It’s soldered to the main board and I don’t think it’s a rechargeable battery judging by the amount of people who have owned these cameras who have encountered the same problem.
It’s a watch type battery and these things do go flat after a few years and unless you know the type and voltage only fuji service centres can replace.
It won’t affect the camera’s performance it’s just a pain having to set up each time you change the batteries.

The control screen operates by a battery which is charged by cycling. We were in a car accident and it was unused long enough to run down the battery. When this happened before, we cycled till it was charged and then it worked. Now though, it is stuck at a level that we can hardly peddle at–not long enough to charge the battery. Any solution?

You may need to pull the battery out and take it to a re-conditioner. In Australia a company called battery world can test the battery, re-condition or replace if needed.
if there is a way of using a external charger on it this may give you enough power to adjust the pedal resistance, be sure to disconnect the battery from the bike before charging and use the correct type of charger for that batteries voltage and chemistry
You can try manually releasing the pedal pressure by removing the wheel and releasing the resistance wheel or belt. With out a model type I do not know exactly how to do this, although it is fairly easy to see when the main wheel is off the bike.

SENSEI MP3 i have a sensei 4gb mp3 player.When i plug it to my comp to charge it a battery appears.But its not showing any progress.How do i know if its charging or not.What color is the battery icon when it is fully charged
ANSWER : I could see the progress in the battery down right corner. If entire battery becomes black then it is full charged. However I have a problem of the charge getting discharged very fast i.e., when the player is NOT powered OFF.
