Experienced athletes share their insights in answering this question:
Hello Joe,the serial # (VIN #) is usually located on the tongue of the trailer. It can either be a tag, or it may be stamped. The axle may also have a tag that has the VIN # as well. Sometimes the tray that holds the propane cylinders covers this up.On the popup box itself, there may be a small name plate located on the roadside front corner as well.

How to Identify and Resolve Common Issues ?

We offer a diverse range of insights on identifying and resolving common problems in sports. Our sources encompass academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays shared by seasoned athletes. :

The VIN number can be found on your registration, and on the VIN plate. The VIN plate is typically found on the campers tongue. Use the Vin Decoder to identify your year.
For towable recreational vehicles, travel trailers and fifth wheels, you will find the VIN number metal plate or on the Federal certification label. The label is typically on the left front corner (lower roadside) of the RV somewhere near the bottom of the sidewall.
The 10th character in the 17-character VIN represents the vehicle model-year. This standard applies to vehicles built in or after 1981.
Manufacturers will place the model somewhere on the body. Usually, it is near the driver`s seat. Often it is on a plate or tag on the driver`s door or near the pedals.
Your Bill of Sale, Insurance paperwork, Registration or Title will have the Serial number listed. On the unit it would typically be stamped on a tag which is mounted on the A-frame of a Travel Trailer or on the pin box of a Fifth Wheel.
If the VIN tag is missing or can`t be read, how can the trailer be identified? A. There should be a reference number somewhere on the trailer; this is typically welded on the frame of the trailer. Some older trailers had identification numbers stamped into the frame on the tongue/hitch area.
This unit is 17`0″ x 6`8″ and weighs only 998lbs empty. This is the perfect get away camper for you and your family to make memories. Why sleep on the ground when you can easily afford something better?
Model year encoding

The year 1980 was encoded by some manufacturers, especially General Motors and Chrysler, as “A” (since the 17-digit VIN was not mandatory until 1981, and the “A” or zero was in the manufacturer`s pre-1981 placement in the VIN), yet Ford and AMC still used a zero for 1980.

VIN`s starting with 1, 4, and 5 are manufactured in the United States. The third number or letter is used by the vehicle manufacturer to identify what kind of vehicle it is: car, truck, bus, etc. The 10th character of the VIN indicates the model year.
Most of the time the numbers indicate the length of the RV. The number does not include the hitch or tow vehicle so you may need to look those details up on the manufacturer website. Knowing the length will help you determine where you camp as some campgrounds have restrictions on length.
A class B motorhome is sometimes referred to as a campervan, travel camper, or camping car.
The first 2 numbers tell the deck length, 3rd digit is the style trailer, the next 2 digits (4th & 5th) indicate the frame or series, the next digit (6th) denotes the flooring and the last digit (7th) denotes the tail configuration. The model number may also be followed by an 8th digit that denotes paint color.
The 17 digit VIN number associated with all motor vehicles (and trailers) is designed and mandated by the government to promote industry uniformity.
VIN reassignment overview

Lightweight camp, utility, and boat trailers are usually sold by the original manufacturer with the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) displayed by the mylar decal or sticker-type label required under the federal motor vehicle safety standards.

An International VIN is a 17-character code that is used to identify the specific truck. Information about a specific International truck can be found using a VIN decoder, which reveals information about the vehicle`s specifications and components.
The VIN was stamped into various metal objects on the vehicle, including the frame, the body, the engine, transmission and other places. The VIN on the frame or the body became known as the Hidden VIN, the Confidential VIN or the Federal VIN. This number is usually not a full, complete VIN but a derivative thereof.
Your VIN isn`t 17 digits long

As of the model year (MY) 1981, the NHTSA required all vehicles manufactured for road use to be assigned a 17-digit VIN number. So, any vehicles manufactured in 1981 or later with VINs shorter than 17 characters are invalid.

Your data providers database needs to be up-to-date. It is a possibility that you`re running a VIN number that isn`t present in the database yet. Ensure your data provider contains VIN numbers of all modern vehicles before running a VIN. Another aspect to consider is that your vehicle may be too old.
The camper weighs approx 1,600 lbs and has a 2 inch ball. Unfolded it is approximately 17 feet.
6.67 ft. (80 in.) 1,645 lbs.
This trailer is easy to pull at only 1839 pounds and doesn`t require electric brakes. Because of its low profile and weight when closed, it is very maneuverable and good on gas milage.
A Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is a 17-digit code, comprised of capital letters and numbers, that uniquely identifies a vehicle. Each letter and number provide specific pieces of information about your vehicle including the year, make, model, engine size, and manufacturer.
The most common VIN format is the 17-digit VIN, which became standard for all vehicles manufactured since January 1981. Vehicles manufactured prior to 1981 may have as few as 5 digits to as many as 13 digits.
As noted, the vehicle`s year is identified by a letter or number in the 10th position from the left in the VIN. As shown above, the 10th character of the VIN indicates its model year.

I have an Eclipse 1100 HR/A elliptical. I am having a problem with the arm that holds the right side foot pad in place. It keeps working it’s way loose. I open up the casing and tighten it COMPLETELY and then within 5 minutes of working out it is loose and making this horrible clunking noise as it turns. It seems like the thin – large washer on the outside of the arm is slightly warped. Could this be causing it to loosen and if so how do I order new parts and which parts should I order? Also, can you tell me where they put the serial number on the machine – I can’t seem to find it. Thanks in advance for your help.

I have a Winchester Model 190 with serial number B1302781. This model and serial nubmer does not show up on the Windhester site. Can you tell me when this rifle was manufactured?
ANSWER : The model 290 came out first, in 1965. The 190 came out in 1967. The 290 was made until 1973 and production of the 190 ended in 1980. There were approx. 2,150,000 model 190/290 made through the years.Since yours was made before the middle of the production run, and before 1973, I would guess late 60’s to around 1970 or 1971.

Hope this helps.
