Broken Scoreboard
For scoring related issues, you need to adjust the sensors. Air hockey tables use infrared sensors that must be aligned correctly or else they will not function correctly. To fix this problem, adjust the sensors so that they are facing each other. Turn your air hockey table on and give it a test shot.
GOAL CIRCUITS
The upper pair goes to an infrared phototransistor, while the lower right pair goes to an infrared LED. This circuit forms the goal sensor to detect when the puck has landed in the goal. The low-powered phototransistor is amplified through the BC549 NPN transistor, which lights the LED.
The game is played on a table with a smooth, hard surface and features a rink surrounded by Plexiglas walls and barriers. Players use handles attached to rods that control miniature hockey players, and attempt to score goals by flicking or shooting a small, hard plastic puck into the opposing team`s net.
For a player to score a point, the puck must land in the opposing player`s goal, and stay there – if it bounces in and out, it doesn`t count! It doesn`t matter whose mallet the puck touched last, so own goals are entirely possible.
Start off with a triangle defense stance with your mallet 2 feet away from the goal center. Watch the puck coming at you. If it`s a straight shot, keep your mallet somewhere in the center. Once it makes a turn to left, move your mallet downward diagonally following the puck`s movement.

TC5000 and after extended use I smell burning and upon removing the belt cover and drive belt I felt of the motor on the motor side of the drive pulley and it was ”red-hot”, obviously the source of the smell of the burning. The motor spins freely without any rubbing noise. The drive pulley (motor side) and the tread pulley appear to be alligned. One curious thing is that the threaded motor output shaft is recessed about 3/8” from the outside edge of the pulley. Could it be the bearing on the pulley side of the motor? I am dumbfounded as to what the solution might be. Note that I could not enter the exact product as my model seemed to be invalid. My model is the TC5000. Thanks [email protected]
ANSWER : Just because it spins freely doesnt mean it cant have a shorted winding. Id send it back where it came from or at least replace the motor.

I have two Taylor drivers – one with a broken head and one with a broken shaft – can the shaft of one be used on the other to give one club that can be used?
