When using the Plantronics (Ploy) 5220 series, the Plantronics Hub is used to manage device settings. Open the Hub, go to Settings, General. In there you will see a Mute On/Off Alerts setting. Change the setting from Tone and Voice to Tone only and choose Apply.
Disconnect the headset, and then reconnect it to see if this reactivates the mute switch. If so, then you might have insufficient USB power. You could be missing a driver. Go to your Device Manager (instructions below) and look for the Human Interface Device.
Go to Settings > Privacy. Make sure Keyboard shortcut to unmute is toggled on.
The mute button cuts off the microphone on your phone. This means that you can still hear the caller but they cannot hear you.
Disconnect the headset, and then reconnect it to see if this reactivates the mute switch. If so, then you might have insufficient USB power. You could be missing a driver. Go to your Device Manager (instructions below) and look for the Human Interface Device.
You can mute and unmute your headset using Plantronics Hub. To mute or unmute your headset, click the headset icon in the System Tray. To mute the device, click Mute. The headset icon turns red to indicate the device is muted.
If sound keeps being muted, perhaps your system volume has been set to Mute unknowingly. More likely, either the internal microphone or the external one has been disabled — which would prevent sound from coming through that device. Other improper sound settings can have a similar effect.
The problem is that Teams is always listening to the environment and if it hears a noise, like your chair moving, you typing, or even the person speaking in the meeting through your computer speakers, it gives you a notification that you are muted and how to unmute your mic.
If you`re still having trouble, try re-enabling your speaker by going to Advanced > More sound settings. In the Recording tab, right-click your mic. Then select Enable.
This symbol means that you will not get notifications from this contact.
Mute is a feature that allows you to remove an account`s Tweets from your timeline without unfollowing or blocking that account. Muted accounts will not know that you`ve muted them and you can unmute them at any time.
Press the Mute button to mute or unmute your headset during an active call. Customize mute settings in Plantronics Hub app. Press the Volume buttons up (+) or down (–) during a call or while streaming audio.
Toggle the Volume button up (+) or down (–) during a call or while streaming audio. While not on a call or streaming audio you can toggle the Volume button to adjust the volume level for Caller Announce and other voice prompts. If callers can`t hear you, try the following:

Check that the mute option is not on. Ensure that the headset microphone boom is positioned properly. Try other telephone configuration dial settings on the left side of the base unit.

Method #2: Keyboard shortcut to mute and unmute: Mac: Command(⌘)+Shift+A. Linux: Alt-A. Windows: Alt-A.
Select Start > Settings > Privacy > Microphone . In Allow access to the microphone on this device, select Change and make sure Microphone access for this device is turned on.
next to your profile picture at the top of Teams and then choose Settings > Devices. Under Audio devices, pick the speaker and mic you want Teams to use by default.
When you join a meeting in Teams you have the option to mute and make your camera off. Unfortunately, there is no option to set the microphone to default to mute and the camera to default to off when you join a Teams meeting for now.
On the Teams desktop app, you can also choose to stay muted to avoid unwanted interruption or noise during a meeting and rapidly respond when called upon. To quickly unmute, hold down the keys Ctrl+Spacebar (Windows) and Option+Spacebar (Mac). Release keys to go back to muted state again.
Go to the right bottom part of your computer screen to find the audio icon. Right click on the audio icon and choose Open Volume Mixer. Look at the volume controls you can see in the list. There will be a red circle sign with a line on the volume icon under the volume control if it`s muted.
WHAT IS A MUTE? A mute is a device brass players use to lower the volume and/or alter the timbre (tonal quality) of the instrument. Mutes fit directly into the bell of the instrument, or are held or clipped on. Even though the word “mute” means silence, a muted horn still makes sound.
mute (adj.)

late 14c., mewet “silent, not speaking,” from Old French muet “dumb, mute” (12c.), diminutive of mut, mo, from Latin mutus “silent, speechless, dumb,” probably from imitative base *meue- (source also of Sanskrit mukah “dumb,” Greek myein “to be shut,” of the mouth).

The word “mute” comes from the Latin “mutus” meaning unable to speak.
/muteself: This will prevent players from using text chat. However, using this command will notify others that one has muted oneself. It can be undone by using /muteself again. /deafen: This command will prevent players from using text chat and also prevent them from seeing chat from other players.

I have the Intex Sand/Pump pool filter Model SF 20110. It’s been running real great for the last 4 months. However recently it has been tripping the internal overloads and I have found the pump motor to be very hot when I put my hand against it. I have tried several different solutions, such as a level ground platform that was clear of any obstructions, made sure that the motor vents under the motor was clear of anything that would prevent air flow. I used a non electrical type of lubricate on the impeller. When I would turn on the pump the rotor would not turn but only would hum very loudly and then slowly begin to turn. I also noticed that the motor’s rotor shaft would not turn to freely due the tightness around the rotor’s shaft. After using the lubricate the shaft would turn a little easier. I used an amp meter on the incoming voltage line and the motor would run at 4.5 amp. And yet it still overheated and tripped the motor overloads. I can only think that the motor is still not getting enough ventilation. I have check and cleared all the incoming lines and found nothing block the pumps input or output lines. Any suggestion?
ANSWER : I just looking into this issue my self. The pump cools itself by a internal fan, which is run by the motor. Well I took the housing cover off to find out all the fan blades have broken off and were setting in the base of the pump. Once you remove the fan blades from covering the air intake, it might be fine. I will find out my self once summer gets here.

When i go to stari my bike it doesnt turn over i
ANSWER : If it doesn’t turn over when you push start, but it does if you wiggle the key back and forth, it’s probably the ignition switch. Try to isolate the problem by only doing one thing at a time, such as wiggling the key while it’s in the on position, or pushing start several times. It might be the starter motor too, but that seems a less likely possibility if turning the key back and forth fixes it temporarily. The way to make sure would be to jump the ignition switch all together (hotwire it) to see if it always starts then. You should be able to find a wiring diagram to show you how to do this.

I have a gun safe that is open the dial will not turn and the handle will not turn either. The safe door is open but I cannot get dial or handle to turn so that I can lock door. What can I do so that I can lock door to secure my guns?
ANSWER : Well the good news is that the door is open and not locked closed — do not close the door until the problem is for sure fixed. on the inside of the door there should be a access panel that is held on by some screws,, remove the screws and panel. now depending on the make and model of the safe there are a few things that could have happened here. there is a chance that a re-locker has failed and jammed the linkages from moving. ( NOTE : the dial should not turn until the handle is in the locked position ). now if you look at the bolt linkages ( top, bottom, and sides ) make sure that none of the bolts have jammed up against the exit holes of the metal of the door. lubricate all linkages using a silicone or teflon based lubricant. the next thing to check is to make sure that the bolt from the combo pack is not broken and jamming up the handle linkage. there are not many things that can go wrong with the safe — it is all just a bunch of levers and linkages and it has been my experience ( working as a locksmith for 18 years ) that this problem is a binding issue. again,, I cannot stress it enough to make sure you do not close the door until the issue is fixed and you have tried the combo several times and simulated a open and close ( handle lock and un-lock ) test.
if after all this you are still having issues – it is well worth the service call to have a locksmith stop by and service the safe, this will insure that the safe does not lock you out.
