How to Identify and Resolve Common Issues ?

Yes, there is supposed to be a 1/2 inch gap in between the two table halves. This is to prevent damage from the two table halves hitting against each other and to allow the table to fold up.
You need extra space to actually play the game! For ping pong, we recommend an absolute minimum of 4 feet extra space on either end of the table, and 3 feet of space on the sides.
A Fault is called when a player makes an error to lose the point according to a rule. For example, when a serve is performed illegally (eg. the toss is not higher than 6 inches), this is a fault and the opponent gets the point.
The white lines on a table tennis table mark the playable area for players. These lines around the table`s edges are 2cm thick, while the middle line is 3mm wide. The middle line is only used in doubles as players must serve to the opposite corners of the opponents` side of the table.
The official size of a Ping Pong table should be 9 feet in length, 5 feet in width and 2.5 feet in height. In alternative measurements, this is (length x width x height): 108″ x 60″ x 30″ inches. 2.74m x 1.525m x 0.76m.
Regulation Size – When open these regulation tournament beer pong tables are 7.5ft long, 2 ft wide and stand 29 inches off the ground.
How long is a game? A game in table tennis is played until one of the players scores 11 points or if there is a 2 point difference after the score was tied (10:10). A game used to be played until 21, but that rule was changed by the ITTF in 2001.
The serve is legal and if your opponent doesn`t touch it, you win the point if it lands back on your side. You don`t have to worry about hitting it back again.
Service Rules

In order to make this happen, there are several rules that are enforced during the serve, including: The ball must always be visible to the receiver throughout the serve – it must never be hidden. The ball must be always be behind the end line of the table, and above the level of the playing surface.

You must be holding your racket when it hits the ball for it to be a good return. Of course, you could transfer your table tennis racket from one hand to the other hand because your other hand would then become your racket hand … but that`s quite difficult to do!
An extremely tall player has a disadvantage in that the table is only 30 inches high. To compensate, a tall player must learn to stay very low, which can be hard on their legs. However, the tall player has an advantage in hitting lobs, which shorter players may have great difficulty with.
The earliest surviving action game of Tennis on a table is a set made by David Foster, patented in England in 1890 (No. 11037): Parlour Table Games, which included table versions of Lawn Tennis, Cricket and Football.
To accommodate most adult players (averaging 6ft tall), you really need an additional 3-6 feet (1-2m) of space around all sides of the table. That means the ideal room for your ping pong table is a minimum of 19ft long and 11ft wide (approximately 5.75×3.5m).
Table tennis was banned in the Soviet Union from 1930 to 1950 because the authorities believed the sport was harmful to people`s eyes.
Table tennis was invented in England in the 19th century as an after-dinner pastime for elites, who used the tops of cigar boxes for paddles and books for nets.
It`s not just a recreational pastime or a humorous Hollywood reference—it`s actually a competitive Olympic sport. It`s also not easy, not by any stretch. Table tennis, in truth, requires serious skill and athleticism to master, and in turn offers real physical and mental benefits.
Although its name may sound Chinese, the sport of table tennis (ping pong, Pīngpāng qiú, 乒乓球) did not originate in China; invented as an after-dinner diversion in late-19th century England, it made its way into China through the Western settlements via Japan and Korea only in 1901.
A match is played best 3 of 5 games. For each game, the first player to reach 11 points wins that game, however a game must be won by at least a two point margin. A point is scored after each ball is put into play. The edges of the table are part of the legal table surface, but not the sides.
Perfect for tailgating, house parties, bars, fraternities and more. Durable construction will withstand the test of time. 6 ft size is great if you don`t have room for an 8 ft table or if you want the games to go quicker.
Play Surface: The first thing to look for in a table tennis table is the thickness of the top. Tops will range in thickness from ½” to 1”. The playing surface should be at least 3/4 inches or 19mm thick. Anything of lesser thickness will warp too easily and not give consistent ball bounce.
The game was invented in England in the early days of the 20th century and was originally called Ping-Pong, a trade name. The name table tennis was adopted in 1921–22 when the old Ping-Pong Association formed in 1902 was revived.
The playing surface shall be uniformly dark colored and matt, but with a white side line, 2cm wide, along each 2.74m edge and a white end line, 2cm wide, along each 1.525m edge. These lines are referred to as “boundary lines” and therefore any ball landing outside and beyond their limits are “out of bounds”.
Table Surface Thickness. Most regulation size table tennis tables range in thickness from 12mm to 30mm. As a general rule, the thicker the surface, the better the table. The best ping pong tables for high-traffic rec centers and for competitive players are 25mm+ table tennis tables.

Kettler tennis table has rusty legs, one is very bad
ANSWER : To stop this much rust – go to any hardware store and buy (I forget the exact name) a “paint” called Rust Stop. It will stop the rusting and turn the existing rust into a hard black surface that you can then paint.

Starter was removed, rebuilt and reinstalled. Looking for help fo correct wiring.

The starter has 1 small post and 2 large brass posts. 1 at the top and the other atthe bottom

There are 5 wires

– red battery cable
– red & yellow (Small post?)
– 2 red
– 1 orange

What could happen if the combinatio is not correct when I connect the battery?

I believe the serial # is LD64157

1998 Sey ray 3.0 L mercruser 135 HP

Attach the orange wire (FROM THE ALTERNATOR) to the stud on the starter solenoid that you connect the red battery cable.. Looking at the studded end of the solenoid, the small stud on the right side gets the yellow w/red stripe from the slave solenoid. The strapping coming out of the starter should be connected to one stud already. The empty large stud gets the two red and the orange wires.”

The Red/ Yellow wire goes to the Small stud, closest to the block,+ All the other wires go on the vacant Big stud.

2011 ninja 1000 fuel pump not coming on
first cycle of the key, but injectors come on.

Engine killed when i hit a bump and let out clutch.
I restarted it and let out clutch and it killed again.
I parked the bike on the stand and let it sit for an hour, then i restarted it and the bike started up, when i gave it gas it backed fire.
Do you think it could be the fuel pump or relay? The shop thinks it could be the kick stand switch, but even acts up on neutral and the gas pump doesn’t come on first cycle of key when cold. Only injectors come on.

ANSWER : I would agree with the shop, as far as check the simply things first.while trouble shooting you want to start with the easy things, if you jump right into the pricey things and that is not it you have spent money and time and still have the problem. If you have a multimeter it will make this pretty easy. put your meter on the ohm setting and open and close the switch ( sidestand, clutch, ect.) if one of your safety swtich is not working right it will make your bike act up. start with that and if they are all working as they should please let me know and we can go deeper into it. I had a bike come into the shop that would cut out while riding, every bump every turn. I chased my tail because i didn’t start simple. i sent a lot of time and ended up paying for a fuel pump out of pocket because that wasn’t the problem. All the switches where working and nothing seemed right everything was working. after a few days while raising the bike on the left i notched the side stand moving a little with ever little bump on the way up. long story short the spring on the side stand had lost it’s ” spring” and won’t hold the side stand up right, every bump every turn the side stand moved a little letting the switch open and kill the bike .let me know what you find and if you need more help I’ll get and send you the wiring diagram and we can start work out the problem.M.Woodring

ANSWER : The 2 longest of the poles go in an x over the center of the tent and the 2 shorter ones go arch to the sides. a picture very similar to your tent. If you go to image 2 it shows it with out the fly. now if you got 2 sets of 4 poles, 2 long and 2 short, and one set is all aluminum, then I would go with the aluminum set. It is less likely to collapse in high winds.
