Right now, Ekberg is focused on investing, though he still keeps in touch with some of the founding members of Ace of Base, including Jonas. Jenny is still working in the business and released her solo album “My Story” five years ago. “We haven`t really sat down and discussed [a comeback],” Ekberg said.
“Don`t Turn Around” is a popular song written by Albert Hammond and Diane Warren. It was originally recorded by American singer Tina Turner and released as the B-side to her 1986 hit single “Typical Male”.
The title track topped Billboard`s Hot 100 singles chart almost immediately. The album grabbed the top spot and was certified platinum in the U.S. before the end of 1994. Eclipsing the sensation ABBA created two decades earlier, Ace of Base became the first Swedish group to reach number one in the U.S.
And with Ace of Base it is obvious. The structures are about the same: four members, with the two women being responsible for the singing and the two men being responsible for the composition. Even more: Jonas and Ulf have the same infallible feeling for easy going melodies like Björn and Benny from ABBA.
Pete Seeger composed “Turn! Turn! Turn!” in 1959 in response to a letter from his publisher.
Introduction. Turn, turn, turn is a hit 1965 folk song written by Pete Seeger and performed by the Byrds. It expresses the reality of a changing, or turning, world in which there is a time and place for everything. Applied to an academic context, the song suggests a natural ebb and flow of ideas and perspectives.
The name that they came to (Ace of Base, duh) was sort of inspired by Motorhead`s song, “Ace of Spades.” Ulf explains: “We were the `four aces` in the studio and we all thought `Ace of Base` sounded great.”
But Ace`s biggest problem was the monkey on his back of drugs and alcohol. By that point he was gone. There were too many drugs and there was too much alcohol, and it drove Ace to the point of no return. The idea that Ace left KISS purely because of `The Elder` isn`t true.”
But the Queen`s taste in music obviously goes beyond a quick top 10, and there are some other big names that Her Majesty was said to be a fan of. One perhaps surprising pick is Swedish pop icons ABBA.
“Dancing Queen” by ABBA
The song won first prize in the Eurovision Song Contest held in 1977 (hosted by Jacqueline Boyer).
ABBA have cited The Beatles as one of their all-time biggest inspirations, with Benny Andersson saying in a new interview that the band learned a “key lesson” from their fellow pop icons.
Although there have been some line up changes over the decades, Aswad (Arabic for Black) are best remembered as the trio of Brinsley Forde (b. 1953), Angus Gaye aka Drummie Zeb (b. 1959) and singer Tony Robinson (b. 1957).
Personal life. Gaye had six children, including Soloman. He died on 2 September 2022 at age 62. The cause of death has not been given.
It debuted at number 98 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was featured prominently in the closing credits of The Hangover Part II.
“Song of Moses“.
The volta, or turn, is a rhetorical shift or dramatic change in thought and/or emotion. Turns are seen in all types of written poetry.
Poetry probably wouldn`t be very interesting if it stayed the same from start to finish. Instead, most poems include a shift, also called a turn or the Italian word “volta,” which expresses a change in the poem.
The lyrics of Pete Seeger`s song “To Everything There Is a Season” were taken word for word from the Bible (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8). The only words Seeger added were “Turn! Turn! Turn!” and “I swear it`s not too late.”

“Turn the Page” is about the emotional and social ups and downs of a rock musician`s life on the road. Seger wrote it in 1972 while touring with Teegarden & Van Winkle.
“Hey Nineteen” by Steely Dan
The song is a nostalgic ode to youth and the longing for the carefree days of being 19 years old. With its catchy melody, upbeat rhythm, and witty lyrics, “Hey Nineteen” is a classic Steely Dan tune that will transport listeners back in time.
“Turn Me On” is an EDM song and features Minaj on vocals. It is the second track from Nothing but the Beat that features Minaj, along with the single “Where Them Girls At”.
“Turn Down for What” is a song by French DJ and record producer DJ Snake and American rapper Lil Jon released on December 18, 2013. The song and its viral music video popularized the use of the phrase.
I have a Husqvarna LZ6127 zero turn mower, works hard on 50 acre farm, I was mowing last evening and it developed a nasty sounding rattle from the underside, I shut off the deck and noticed sparks from underside along pump belt, I lifted it today and the idler looks ok, I tried to start it while it was lifted and it turned a few times and then just clicked, starter won’t turn the engine over now, should I suspect the clutch?
This machine has a electro magnetic clutch, bolted to the end of the crankshaft, if the bearing in the centre has seized it would explain why the engine will not now crank, it relys on the crank turning on the bearing when the blade are not engaged, unfortunatley the clutch is non servicable, it is is part no. 539105406, check also the anti rotation bracket is still in place and fractured, this stops the clutch outer from spining with the centre, the clutch is just bolted on the end of the crank, remove the belt, you will have to loosen it by taking it off one of the blade pulleys, remove the 5/8 bolt, dissconnect the wiring connector, and pull the clutch off the end of the crank, if the bearing in the centre is solid, it will require a new clutch, be aware they can be expensive!.
