Can anyone tell me how to disassemble a portalbe basketball hoop? I just want to break down the 8 foot pole. The screws turn continously !!

I have a lifetime basketball goal with a broken backboard. My son threw a rock threw it. Can I get a replacement glass? Is it easy to change?
ANSWER : You NEED to get a replacement piece from the manufacturer. You could get a piece of lexon from home depot but it will cost you a bit.
