How to Identify and Resolve Common Issues ?

Check your batteries. Most systems continuously beep to alert you that batteries need to be changed. This is true for both security panels and detectors. Go through your home, and test all batteries associated with your security system using a battery tester.
Many safes go into penalty lockout mode if too many wrong codes are entered. Depending on the type of keypad, it typically emits a rapid series of beeps. If this happens, wait 10 to 20 minutes, and try again. Your safe also may have a time delay.
LOW BATTERY A series of beeps indicates the battery needs replacing. Slide the cover on the bottom of the keypad to the side and replace the 9V alkaline battery. Do not use rechargeable batteries!
The 2 braps indicate that the lock is in “Penalty Time”. Penalty time occurs when 4 or more incorrect codes have been entered. Penalty time can also occur if an error was made while performing a combination change. This feature safeguards against unauthorized entry into the safe.
If this happens, simply replace the battery. For added security, you can deliberately remove the batteries from the lock and replace them when you need access to the safe.
It`s Time To Change the Battery As the battery weakens, the device will beep regularly to let you know it`s time to replace it. Test the batteries in your smoke alarms on a monthly basis and replace them twice a year.

4. Listen for the beeps: one beep = brake off, two beeps = brake on. If you do nothing the ESC will simply loop through the sequence of beeps—once, then twice, then once, then twice, etc. waiting for your command to turn the brake on or off.
LOCKOUT MODE: If the safe is constantly beeping and won`t let you enter your code on the electronic keypad, this means your safe is in LOCKOUT MODE. This is a built-in safety feature that happens with 5 consecutive wrong entry attempts. Wait 5 minutes for beeping/flashing to stop [with power added to the safe].

I have a gun safe that is open the dial will not turn and the handle will not turn either. The safe door is open but I cannot get dial or handle to turn so that I can lock door. What can I do so that I can lock door to secure my guns?
ANSWER : Well the good news is that the door is open and not locked closed — do not close the door until the problem is for sure fixed. on the inside of the door there should be a access panel that is held on by some screws,, remove the screws and panel. now depending on the make and model of the safe there are a few things that could have happened here. there is a chance that a re-locker has failed and jammed the linkages from moving. ( NOTE : the dial should not turn until the handle is in the locked position ). now if you look at the bolt linkages ( top, bottom, and sides ) make sure that none of the bolts have jammed up against the exit holes of the metal of the door. lubricate all linkages using a silicone or teflon based lubricant. the next thing to check is to make sure that the bolt from the combo pack is not broken and jamming up the handle linkage. there are not many things that can go wrong with the safe — it is all just a bunch of levers and linkages and it has been my experience ( working as a locksmith for 18 years ) that this problem is a binding issue. again,, I cannot stress it enough to make sure you do not close the door until the issue is fixed and you have tried the combo several times and simulated a open and close ( handle lock and un-lock ) test.
if after all this you are still having issues – it is well worth the service call to have a locksmith stop by and service the safe, this will insure that the safe does not lock you out.

Gun safe key lost – Stack-On Stack On 16 Gun Safe with Combination Lock
ANSWER : You csn get nfor from safe company that made it.. or just spend money on a lock smith….
I forgot my combination i tried putting a couple different numbers in after three trys the key pad locked and now when i type any numbers in it doesnt work. how do i unlock my safe?
ANSWER : After 3 trys the keypad does go into lockout mode but it should only last for about 15 minutes and then let you retry 3 more codes to try and open. if you still do not know what the combo is you can usually call the maker of the safe and with the serial number you might be able to get the original combo that the safe was set to when it was purchased ( this is a factory set combo ) — now if that does not work, your next step will be to call a safe tech ( locksmith ) to set up a auto dialer,, this takes about a full 24 hours to get the combo right. the safe tech can also drill a small hole behind the dial and manually remove the locking bolt. after the safe is opened the locksmith will fill the hole and reset the combo for you ( also replace the battery at this time too ).

My gun just beeps when i pull the trigger even when hooked up to hpa.battery is new.last time i used the gun just before it messed up i had it hooked to o2 and it would fire then beep ,i have a anti syphon tube installed to. the air shot out the asa instead of the reg when i took off the tank.usually gun holds air with tank off then you shoot it to get rid of stored air, this time it shot out the asa????
ANSWER : You have probably messed up your solenoid, did you fire the marker straight up with the o2? I would make sure that all of the board settings are back to factory default especially the dwell and reattempt with compressed air. If the marker is still not firing get your hands on a new solenoid for it.
