How to Identify and Resolve Common Issues ?

We offer a diverse range of insights on identifying and resolving common problems in sports. Our sources encompass academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays shared by seasoned athletes. :

Available in butane or propane and in a range of different sizes from the likes of Campingaz and Calor Gas. Most camping stoves can run from both of these brands and both types of gas (butane or propane) – it`s generally just down to the regulator you use.
Campingaz uses butane, signified by the blue exterior of the Campingaz bottle. Since Campingaz is used to fuel gas camping stoves, it is vital the gas can still function in lower temperatures. For domestic BBQs, we recommend using one of our BBQ gas bottles which use propane gas.
They`re all compatible with one another from the point of the mechanical connection, and gas is gas. There aren`t any blends of canister gas out there that are incompatible with one stove or another.
Most canisters in the U.S. feature a Lindal valve with standardized threading. This allows fuel canisters to be interchangeable between brands. You`ll notice, though, that manufacturers generally like to recommend using their own brand of fuel with their stoves.
Isobutane fuel canisters come in 3 sizes: 4oz., 8oz., and 16oz. You will likely never purchase a 16oz.
Campingaz Butane comes in 2 different size cylinders, these are Campingaz R904 & R907. Both of the Campingaz cylinders have a screw in fitting on the top of the bottle for the regulator. The R907 Campingaz Cylinder has 2.72kg of gas, while the R904 Campingaz Cylinder has 1.81kg.
Campingaz, formerly Camping Gaz, is a brand of products with compressed, mixed butane/propane gas supplied in small, lightweight, disposable canisters and larger, refillable cylinders designed for use as a fuel while camping and caravanning.
They are fitted with a safety valve and are available in most European countries. With the Campingaz cylinder exchange system you can bring your empty cylinder to a Campingaz product dealer in France, UK, Germany, Italy, Spain and dozens of other countries and get a full cylinder for the price of just a refill.
Both Butane and Propanegas bottles and different brands (such as Campingaz) all have different fittings for their gas cylinders. You must get the correct fitting.
The best containers for handling gasoline are Underwriters Laboratories (UL) or Factory Mutual (FM) approved safety cans (see Figure 1). Safety cans are available in several sizes and have various mechanisms for opening the valve to pour the liquids. Funnel spouts can be added to make pouring easier and reduce spills.
CO2 Cylinders tend to come in different sizes, most of them ranging from 10-50 lbs. The materials used to manufacture them are different as well. The 2 most common material used are aluminum and steel. A few materials that could be considered uncommon for a CO2 cylinder include Kevlar and fiberglass.
Which BBQ gas bottle do I need – what size? This depends largely on how many burners your gas barbeque has. If it has between one and three, a 5kg patio gas bottle is ideal. If you`ve got a larger barbeque with four burners or more, then it`s recommended that you select a 13kg bottle.
Dimensions (approx): 100g (9cm x 7cm); 230g (10.75cm x 9.5cm); 450g (10.75cm x 15cm).
Most backpackers use fuel canisters in sizes of roughly 3.5-4 oz, 8 oz, and 16 oz. While various brands sell these canisters, the sizes are standard (give or take a few grams) and the following methods are applicable for whatever brand you use.
Burn Time tells you how long a stove can run on a specified amount of fuel: for example, 60 min. per 230g canister. (Some brands state canister size in oz., so you might have to do some unit conversions.)
How long should my gas cartridge last? A. Most camping stoves burn at 150g/h and the average gas cartridge has a capacity of 450g. This gives approximately 3 hours of cooking time.
Cylinder Gas Content and Sizes

The easiest and safest way to determine the contents of a gas cylinder at your business is by checking the label. The cylinder labels will tell you everything you need to know about the gas specifications inside the cylinder, the potential hazards and safety warnings.

Any idea why it`s so expensive? Camping Gaz has always been expensive in comparison to other brands of gas. However you do have to remember that the cylinders are very much smaller so a bigger proportion of what you pay will be taken up with the refilling and safety checks.
Butane or Propane? Because propane has a lower boiling point it is preferential for cooking at higher altitudes where the air pressure is lower. It is also slightly less volatile than butane which makes it ideal as an all-round camping stove fuel where safety may be important (e.g. if there are kids around).
Camping gasses are sometimes referred to as LPG`s otherwise known as Liquefied petroleum gases. LPG`s are a flammable mixture of hydrocarbon gases, often propane and butane.
The Campingaz 907 cylinder is the largest size in the Campingaz range and holds 2.72kg of butane gas. Campingaz R907 is Ideal for a vast range of camping applications, including cooking, lighting and heating.
To expand on production capacities, Campingaz moves its barbecue production to the Italian manufacturing facility CGIT. In 1996, the company was acquired by the Coleman Company, who specialise in outdoor recreation in the United States.
So can camping stoves be used indoors? They can, but if you`re planning on using your camp stove indoors, there are alternative types of stoves that are much safer than propane or charcoal. Here are a few of the most common: Denatured alcohol stoves.
The short answer is no, you shouldn`t use a camping stove indoors, or any confined space with little ventilation for that matter. Why? Because when camping stoves burn, they can produce carbon monoxide (CO)—an odourless and colourless gas that can cause serious health problems, including death.

Need to fix regulator for coleman stove 5410708
ANSWER : Just where the regulator attaches to the burner there is a small nut that may be loose. If you look closely at this and turn the regulator (stove off and hose detached!) you may see the nut hat turns easily. Tighten it and make sure the regulator does not rotate too freely, but still turns to adjust when attached to the hose or the smaller gas cartridge, if using that. Test carefully after this.

Need the wire diagram to rewire my Ariens lawnmover to bypass the safety switch. It is Ariens GT-19 model # 931026 Serial # 001463.
Can you help? It is an old Ariens mower but still runs good but now I need to bypass the safety switch in order to run it any longer. The local Ariens dealer said I need to go through the internet and get the wire diagram as they cannot give it to me directly. They told me I needed the wire diagram and the part involved in bypassing the safety switch. Hope this is all the information you need to help me.

Thank you. Roger Fielitz

ANSWER : Here is owner manual:http://apache.ariens.com/manuals/030305C.pdfusually the switch is behind the ignition, sometimes at the N position of gearshift, just look for a switch with one wire coming in & one going out (usually the same color); disconnect the two wires & jumper them together to bypass the switch. Looks like yours has one under the seat.

I have lost all pressure in my coleman 502 camp stove. It worked well a few times but up camping it lost pressure after having worked well making coffee but after getting back to camp after a trip out fishing its like someone messed with my stove while I was out. Could it have overheated sitting out in the sun on our table? It no longer builds up pressure when pumped. I took the part out and the plunger looked worn, but I don’t know if it is missing a part inside the tank or what. I just bought it at a thrift store a couple months back as an extra burner.
ANSWER : If you didn’t oil it it might do that. or you should check the position at witch you are holding the plunger.
the instructions say that the plunger turns left and right but mine doesn’t do that
DON’T FORGET TO COVER THE HOLE IN THE PLUNGER THOUGH
IT TOOK ME A WHILE TO FIGURE THAT OUT THE FIRST TIME

I have a Vital Fitness Excersize bike model # RB-350. I have lost the power cord and am trying to find another that will fit, Can’t find an owners manual online. Any suggestions?
ANSWER : I have a Vital Fitness RB-350 as well. I suggest going to your local Radio Shack and purchasing an AC/DC Adaptor from them. The original Adaptor is 120V AC 60Hz Input and the Output is 6V DC at 500mA current. I don’t know how to get the Original Replacement Adaptor from Vital Fitness. I recently moved and could not find my adaptor, then finally found it. In the process I tried to find info on the co online, attempted to call their defunct cust. svc number, called the store where I purchased the Bike to no avail, BBB.com does not give any relevant info on them. Through reading online I see that they were part of a Spain group. Any way… I could not find any parts avail from their Spain Site. I guess if you contacted that firm, possibly they could give you the info you need to get an Original Replacement Adaptor. If you did not want to take my word for it, you could dis-assemble, partially, your unit, so that you could see the motor. On the motor, it should indicate it’s Voltage and Current demands. I have not disassembled mine, but that is the standard in the US… dunno if the US somehow allows china to skip on those standards or not. I don’t think so. Pardon my ignorance on this point. I imagine that they also have to abide by UL standards.
