Clean cracked area with mild detergent and dry thoroughly. Sand the edges of the crack with fine-grit sandpaper until smooth. Continue to sand about ¼ inch out from the crack to rough up the material some. You can use a plastic repair kit or two-part epoxy putty to fill the crack.

Ice chests and coolers are useful for keeping food and drinks cold, but when they are cracked they can leak and be ineffective. You can fix a cracked cooler, depending on where the crack is located—the inner lining or the exterior—and what type of material the cooler is made of.
If your CPU cooler fan stops spinning, make sure that the wire from the fan is connected to CPU_FAN on your motherboard. And if you see that the case fans stop spinning, ensure that cables from these fans are connected to SYS_FAN. Try removing these wires and reconnecting them again if the CPU fan still does not spin.
You could try 2-part resin glues as they will be stronger but there is of course Gorilla Glue or SuperGlue. Epoxy is the best solution.
If your laptop hinges are loose, you can simply tighten them using a micro screwdriver. If dust is the cause, make sure you clean the hinges and area around it properly. You can also use special alcoholic liquid solutions to clean the laptop`s internal parts.
Particle board is generally pretty glue-able. Apply wood glue to the raw particle board and clamp the two pieces together overnight. Those hinges look like they`ll tolerate being moved, so you could make a cosmetic repair to the particleboard and move your hinge down a few inches to undisrupted door.
When dry ice “melts” it releases carbon dioxide gas which could build up inside an airtight cooler and make it explode. Users must adhere to special usage instructions and safety precautions when using dry ice.
Most hinges consist of three basic parts: leafs, a knuckle and a pin. Leafs are the rectangular-shaped plates on the sides of a hinge. A knuckle is a cyldrical-shaped tube that`s created when the leafs are joined together. A pin is a solid metal rod that`s inserted through the knuckle to interlock the leafs.
You can even empty a few trays of ice into the cooler to pre-chill its interior. Put the ice in last. Cold air travels down, so if you want your beverage well chilled, load cans and bottles first, then cover with ice.
Many more inexpensive coolers don`t form an airtight seal around the lid, so the solution is to get some self-adhesive marine/automotive weather tape and make it more airtight. Clean the lid well with alcohol or TSP or something and make sure it is very dry before you put on the strip.

Fishing pole replacement tip. I have a replacement kit but how do you get the broken tip off. The end of the pole is not broken and the broken tip is still firmly glued on.
ANSWER : Most fishing rods are made of graphite, and are very easily breakable. i suggest that you find a way to CAREFULLY saw or file off the tip as close to the glue as you can, preserving as much of the rod as you can. maybe a knife or serrated blade of some sort could get through the tip. i have lost ALOT of fights with BIG fish and i usually end up replacing tips… NOTE that using a new tip will reduce sensitivity in your rod but not too much

I have a 2011 Sportsman 550 EPS Touring (2 up) with a glacier 2 plow set up. I have used it only this winter and already bent the blow frame, worn out the blade guides (the pads that keep the plow edge just off the ground) broken the winch gears (stripped) and broken the cable like 10 times. I went through two Polaris winches and then bought the Warn brand. The guys at the shop told me to go with the synthetic rope instead of the cable. That broke and got all caught up in the winch. The steel cable has broken so many times I lost count. What am I missing here? This plow set up has the support bars so close to the ground it seems problematic. Help please.

ANSWER : Your picking the blade up too high. I forget myself and have done the same thing and also broken the winch cable. You have to make a consious mental effor to not over pick the blade! The true answer is a limit switch on the winch that cuts power when the winch hits a preset height.I have searched the internet and found that such a device does NOT exist! I may build on myself, I don’t think it would be hard to do. ANYWAY THE ANSWER IS TO STOP THE WINCH BEFORE IT GETS TOO HIGH AND TRYS TO WRAP THE PLOW AROUND THE WINCH!

I have two Taylor drivers – one with a broken head and one with a broken shaft – can the shaft of one be used on the other to give one club that can be used?

I have a broken rudder attachment on my kayak and it is the part that the rudder goes into, it seems to have broken away and i need a place in sydney that can take a look at this either to try and fix or have a replacement that i can put back on my kayak.

Fix a
broken rudder blade on your Scupper Pro (1997 and newer). Works with
both tankwell and two hatch versions of the Pro. You will have to take
apart and re-build the rudder assembly to replace the blade. Some of
the hardware may have to be replaced if it is badly corroded. Hardware,
shock cord and lifting lines can be purchased at a hardware store, or
here at TopKayaker, some by special order. The Replacement Blade is 12
inches long by 3 inches wide, with a .5-inch hole + four additional
