Barnett Panzer V Crossbow
I need to know how to install cocking hand crank
How to Identify and Resolve Common Issues ?
We offer a diverse range of insights on identifying and resolving common problems in sports. Our sources encompass academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays shared by seasoned athletes. :
The Tactical Crank Cocking Device installs seamlessly into any Barnett Tactical Series crossbow to reduce cocking resistance by as much as 93 percent. Both from a strength and operational standpoint, the crank handle is easier and less intimidating for many crossbow shooters to use than a rope cocking device.
Depending on your strength and the draw weight of the bow, you may be able to cock a crossbow with your hands. The most popular method is to use a cocking-rope which reduces the amount of energy needed by 50 percent. The final method involves a crank or pulley and can be done with very little effort.
A rope cocking device consists of a length of rope with 2 handles on the ends and two small hooks with rollers for drawing the string. If you shoot a crossbow often, a rope cocker is certainly a must have.
This crank helps you handle a heavier draw weight by easing the force required to fully cock your crossbow.
Leaving your bow cocked for extended periods of time may weaken the limbs and reduce speed. Barnett does not recommend cocking your bow for more than four hours at a time. Store in a safe, dry place.
Cocking your crossbow has never been easier with Barnett`s Crank Cocking Device. This easy-to-install crossbow accessory attaches to the stock of your crossbow to reduce cocking resistance by as much as 93 percent.
In 1139, a Church council declared crossbows unfit for Christian use — except against Infidels. In the next decades other councils repeated the ban.
We could talk about specifics and comparisons all day long, but the bottom line is: Compared to heavier and longer arrows from vertical bows, crossbow arrows drop like a rock and lose energy quickly after leaving the rail. What`s more, they do not stabilize well at long range.
The best way to unload and uncock any crossbow is to shoot it–but firing it without an arrow loaded (called “dry-firing”) will almost surely destroy the crossbow and can be very dangerous to the shooter. So the bow should be unloaded by firing an actual arrow.
Never “dry fire” (i.e., release a cocked crossbow string without a recommended arrow properly loaded into the receiver) your crossbow. Dry firing a Barnett crossbow will immediately void your warranty and result in catastrophic damage to the crossbow.
Crossbows have a safety feature: Most crossbows are on safe at the end of the cocking process. Immediately after cocking, always check to make sure that your bow is on safe before doing anything else.
David Barnett and his business partner proudly repurchased Barnett to make it a private family-owned business once again. Unfortunately, we no longer have parts / components to be able to work on various older crossbow models.
As with most vertical bow hunters, effective range for a crossbow is about 40 yards. At this distance most hunters are able to fire a crossbow accurately enough to be lethal. Just like vertical bows, kinetic energy is the name of the game.
And if you don`t have a bolt in the crossbow, all that energy has to go somewhere, specifically, the crossbow itself. Dry firing a crossbow will most likely damage it. Even if you can`t see the damage at first, it could be internal.

LX 188. Engine suddenly dies. The fluel in the bowel of the fuel filter is empty. If I crank the engine the filter becomes dry and is collapsing some but the engine does not start. When I remove the supply line from the fuel pump to the carberator and crank the enginge there is a strong stream of gas being pumped out. I tap on the carberator ??? is the float is hung not allowing fuel to enter. Cranking the engine with the line off refills the bowel of the gas filter. Reattache line to the carberator===engine starts. Ran perfect for 20minutes then suddenly died. Repeated all the above and engine again started. What to do to fix this? Thanks
Debrie inside the needle and seat area which has to be cleaned out with carburetor cleaner and compressed air
Hard to crank up
May sound a bit tacky but all pop ups are a bit tedious to crank up. In the event this IS NOT your first time to own or operate a pup. I apologize and suggest you post your problem on the pop up times and or the pux webpages. Both are reliable sources for people who have pop up up or small campers.
I have a 2006 kymco people 250 cc it was dropped on the right side and now it won’t crank over I can jump it across the solenoid and it will crank and start
U hurt the igntion switch..inspect for damage or fuseproblems

Can you e mail me a pic of the right hand brake. I may be able to find you a matching one. [email protected]
. Is there a name on the brake e.g:shimano, suntour, etc
One year old weedeater, hard to crank, when i do get it running it will only idle. When you give it gas it will bog down and die?? tried to clean carb, Put sea foam in and let sit for a while. cranked up and still did same thig??
Pull the spark plug wire and push in a Phillips screw driver in the hole in the wire. Hold about 1/8″ from the metal of the engine. Pull the rope quickly and watch for a spark. If you see a spark you most likely have a carb problem not an electrical problem. Or Remove the Spark Plug. Wrap a Wire Around the Threaded Area of the Plug and the Other End of the Wire is Attached to the Engine Block. Unplug the Shut Off Wire from the Coil. Is there Spark? If No, the Coil/Ignition Module May be Bad.If you saw a spark then checks your spark plug to be clean and not gunked up. If clean then pour about a thimble full of fresh mixed gas in the cylinder through the spark plug hole. Then install the spark plug and wire. Try to start the engine with the throttle pulled high speed. May take a bunch of pulls maybe 20 or so. If the engine starts and runs for a few seconds your carb is plugged up and needs cleaned.
