A great partner for sparring techniques or target work, the original BOB – Body Opponent Bag is a life-like mannequin with a vinyl “skin” for more realistic self-defense training. BOB features seven height adjustments from 60 inches to 78 inches tall. BOB is ideal for punching and strikes.
Skin is made of vinyl with an internal hard plastic cylinder for structural support. Base is made of hard, sturdy plastic and can be filled with sand or water. Convenient port with a screw-on cap on the top of the base for filling. Bob training bag is available in sizes: adult, children.
Base has a diameter of 24” and is 19.5” tall (not counting internal stem) Base can be filled with sand or water. Convenient port with screw-on cap on top of base for filling. Holds up to 270 lbs.
Include the following items in each Go Bag:

Food – 3-day supply. Warmth/Shelter – Emergency blanket, 3 12-hour body warmers, poncho. Medical Supplies – First Aid/medical kit, pain reliever, 3 pairs of medical gloves, and a 3-7 day supply of any required life-saving medications as well as copies of prescriptions.

The word probably has its origins in the Norse word baggi, from the reconstructed Proto-Indo-European bʰak, but is also comparable to the Welsh baich (load, bundle), and the Greek Τσιαντουλίτσα (Chandulícha, load).
In the most basic terms, a tote bag is defined as a mid-large sized bag which has two parallel handles. Tote bags are usually unfastened at the top and are bigger than most other handbags. Tote bags can be made from a range of different fabrics and come in multiple colours and patterns.
For this guide, we recommend using sand for punching bags as it will weigh more, but a bag base filled with water will still give you a great workout. The reason we recommend sand for punching bags is that the base can fit 350 lbs. of sand, but only 250 lbs. of water.
If you live in a damp or wet environment, (Bob) could develop mold overtime because it is porous. If you leave the base outside in the cold (anything 32 degrees or below), the water in the base will expand as it freezes, which means the base will become warped, or worse crack if the plastic isn`t weather resistant.
A: The Sun damage will be moderate, and keeping him in shade will help. The bigger issue is mold which means you will need to clean him regularly. Also keep in mind that this would void the 1-year warranty from the manufacturer.
Inner cavity is filled with high-density urethane foam. Base can be filled with water or sand and weighs approx. 270 lbs. 7 height adjustments from 60” to 78”.
Heavy bags—like the name implies—are punching bags generally weighing up to 200 pounds. There are two types of heavy punching bags you can use: Traditional hanging bags. Free-standing punching bags.
To make sure that your heavy bag is the right size for your needs and provides enough resistance for proper training, take your personal body weight and divide by two. For example, if you weight 160 lb., your heavy bag should weigh roughly 80 lb.
But keeping your punching bag outside isn`t the best idea. Direct sunlight, heat, and rain can damage your bag as we mentioned above. So, if you train outside, make sure to do so somewhere dry, with limited or no direct sunlight.
see less You just unscrew the punching bag out of the base and set it aside. If you put a lot of sand in, leave the punching bag screwed in and use it as mechanical advantage to tip the base over. Unscrew the cap and poor out the sand.
Fill the Base with Sand

Most free-standing bag bases can be filled with either water or sand, but the heavier sand offers more stability and won`t slosh around. For even more stability, we recommend that you fill the base with a combination of water and sand.

Century bob bought it used. Trying to figure out what parts are missing on the inside tube that hold Bob up at the different height positions?
ANSWER : Cheap plastic nipples are stripped out! Moving it while Bob is still attached & kids jumping on Bob’s shoulders did the same to mine… I am going to try short bolts & nuts after dipping in plasti-dip/rubber product of some sort.

I have a cut in the neck of my bob body opponent bag. its about 1 inch long right on his neck. how can i repair the cut?
ANSWER : Due to the material that is used, I’d get some fishing wire and sew the cut up. Stitch it normally, then go back over cross-stitching to get double the holding capacity. I’d then use some doctors tape, it’s very sticky and will keep the cut together. I know this sounds like doctors and nurses but it will work. Fishing wire isn’t going to snap, the only problem I can see is the bob body might hang its head slightly when you pull the stitching tight. Either way a cut to the neck will make him look hard as nails 🙂 Hope this helps. Your vote counts a lot. Thanks.

The instructions I got are not exactly for the tent in the bag, so I need to find out the specific instructions for my tent rther than the generic instructions it came with.
ANSWER : Search on the internet for the manufacturer’s name, and the tent model. Most have instruction sheets downloadable from their websites. If that doesn’t work, and they can’t help you by email, then try to find a scout troop or outdoors club in your area, who may be able to help you find instructions or even someone with a similar tent.
