Regulation size shuffleboard tables (also known as tournament tables) are 22 feet long by 20 inches wide. The cradle, which is the narrow area surrounding the playing surface, adds inches to these dimensions, so the actual size is around 23 feet long and 31 inches wide.
Weight: 345 lbs. NOTE: Shuffleboard wax beads must be used to in order for the pucks to slide down the playing surface.
Shuffleboard wax, also known as sand, dust, powder, cheese, salt, sawdust, and more, is a material that`s sprinkled on table shuffleboards to decrease friction between the puck and the table, preserve the tables thickness, and increase the speed of weights as they glide across the table.
Among the smaller range tables, 9-foot shuffleboard tables are extremely popular (though you could even find tables as small as 8 feet long). As the name suggests, these tables are 9 feet long and typically 24-32 inches wide (with a playing surface that`s 8 feet long and a play field width of 15 inches).
9 Foot Shuffleboard Tables – It is the most common table size for small space. 12 Foot Shuffleboard Tables – It is less intimidating to new players as well, encouraging patrons of all skill levels to play. 14 Foot Shuffleboard Tables – This is the threshold for small to mid-size tables.
If you have limited space the best options to consider are 9` and 12` shuffleboard tables. These tables are perfect for tight spaces in homes or apartments. They also work well for bars or venues that want to add multiple tables into a single space.
Casual or Tournament Play

In order to play in a tournament, your table must be the regulation size of 22` long and 20” wide Tournament weights are 2 5/16” in diameter and must weigh about 12 oz. If you are not planning to host official tournaments, you have more leeway with shuffleboard size and your weight choice.

Good types of wood include mahogany, oak, and maple. Always go with hardwoods whenever possible. MDF may look nice and cost less but hardwood is the best when you want to build a quality table.

shuffleboard, also called shovelboard, original name shoveboard, game in which disks are shoved by hand or with an implement so that they come to a stop on or within a scoring area marked on the board or court (on a table, floor, or outdoor hard surface such as concrete).
While ages ago shuffleboard powder was made from sawdust, today it is made from dried silicone beads and corn meal. It usually comes in a round container not unlike a powdered cleaner. The holes at the top are arranged in such a way that the powder can be spread evenly around the table.
This shuffleboard has the official playing length of 2 meters, height of 4.5 cm and has the width is 41 cm which is the same as the boards used annually in the shuffleboard world championships in Holland.
Not all pucks are created equal, though—there are two different sizes. Medium ones measure in at 2 1/8 inches and work best on 9`, 12`, and 14` shuffleboard tables. Large pucks, on the other hand, measure in at 2 5/16 inches, making them ideal for 16`, 18`, 20`, and 22` shuffleboard tables.
Shuffleboard is played on a court that is 6 feet wide by 39 feet long, with 6 feet 6 inch standing room at either end. It should be on a flat surface that allows the discs to easily slide.
You`ll need to have some shuffleboard sand close by to get the most out of your game. Sprinkling shuffleboard sand — also known as shuffleboard wax or shuffleboard powder — on your board is essential to ensure the pucks glide down the table correctly. This silicone-based powder also helps preserve your board.

Imagine if you had to turn side ways and walk through the door. Then after you would be side ways behind the shuffleboard you would be bent over the cradle to make your shots. This is why we generally recommend that you allow 2 foot behind your table and a wall.

I have a Mossberg model 185k bolt action 20 ga. shotgun.I bought it from a coworker and it was missing the bolt.I recently accquired a bolt assembly for it,but when I try to close the bolt handle it will not close. The bolt head has a steel lock ball in it that contacts the receiver when you try to close the bolt handle.Any suggestions?
ANSWER : The bolt you have acquired is either from a different model, or has been modified. With fire arms you are getting into dangerous territory, but I do suggest you have it looked at by a gunsmith. He will tell you what the problem is and you then make a decision based on that information.
