JUST PUT TOGETHER A 2004 KAWASAKI KXF 250 AND IT WILL NOT START OR EVEN BACKFIRE IF YOU SQUIRT FUEL DIRECTLY INTO THE INTAKE AND KICK IT OVER.IT HAS PROPER COMPRESSION ;THE CAM AND VALVE TIMING ARE CORRECT AND IT SEEMS TO HAVE GOOD SPARK.IT ALSO HAS A COMPLETE NEW HEAD;NEW VALVES;NEW CAMS;AND NEW PISTON ;PISTON RINGS AND A NEW CYLINDER.EVEN HAD A LOCAL SHOP TECHNITIAN LOOK AT IT AND HE SAYS THAT HE CANT FIGURE IT OUT.PLEASE HELP ME I AM DESPERATE.

A 2-stroke engine requires only one complete crankshaft revolution to complete the four stages of combustion. A 4-stroke engine requires two crankshaft revolutions. This advantage explains why a 250-cc 2-stroke engine makes more power than a 4-stroke of the same size.
As you`ve read, the 2-stroke bikes have smaller engines, are lighter, have less traction, but more initial power. 4-stroke bikes are heavier, have more stability and traction on the track, but have the higher horsepower for overall power. This means that both are fast.

The KX250 is a pure high-rpm race bike. It needs to be revved to the moon to get the most out of it. You could say that this also applies to the KTM 250SXF, FC250 and GasGas MC 250F as well; however, the Austrian engines offer enough low-end grunt that they can hold their own should they need to be short-shifted.
Fastest Superbikes: Motorcycle manufacturers have been producing some of the fastest and most powerful production motorcycles in history. The Kawasaki Ninja H2R broke the speed record by accelerating from 0-400 km/h in under 26 seconds.

ANSWER : Your best bet would be to call a local shop (preferably a Kawasaki dealer) and see if they can run one down for you. I checked some of the larger parts dealers on the net, and they had everything except the calipers, like the following site:

ANSWER : Look on the bottom of the fuel bowl. See if it has an electric fuel shut off solenoid. If it does unscrew the solenoid clean with Carburator cleaner and work the needle up and down until free. When you have it off of the carb plug it back in ground it to a metal surface and turn the key on and off. Watch the needle move up and down. Install back on Carburator bowl and start it up.
